Low and behold the Maulana spoke. The Maulana who loves to live in the spotlight. The same Maulana who craves for public attention. He is the same Maulana who almost called women sluts and got away with it. He claimed the way the women dress has spread the Corona Virus. The same Maulana who has become a brand. I never endorsed him or people like him who just like the envelopes love to be pro government just to keep a slot on the National Channel.
I don't care how many big guns he knows. I don't care if the people I hate also hate him. I don't care if my friends love him. All I know is that his antics are just to propagate his school of thought. Deen is a PR machine for him. He is ensuring the next breed of extremist little Maulanas who would carry his legacy come forward.
I will never endorse anyone who give our Deen a bad name. I will never endorse anyone who considers women as sinful and put men on a pedestal no matter how wrong they are. The man loves to garner attention upon himself by quoting Hadith without reference will never be liked by me. I am so appalled that people just like heroes and victims in the name of Deen without learning Quran themselves. This nation could never become a Nation because of people like him who influence politicians.
Life is too short and I am way too angry and frustrated to be quiet anymore. Unlike the Maulana my ego is not fragile And neither do I like to be dramatic. For me he is just a pawn in the machinery of misogynistic men willing to make women feel inferior and make them more fragile. He is with the current government and so am I. But that doesn't mean I have to like each and everything they do. For publicity the Maulana would do anything. I will write what I feel is right according to my opinion.
May Allah help us in exposing all the hypocrites who use Deen to belittle the weaker segments of society and claim that only they are correct. I can only ask Allah for help because slowly but surely I am losing all hope in the world.
