The 5 Stages of Grief

After 72 years of existence, Pakistan is finally on it’s right track. Corrupt politicians with vested interests are being exposed. We are finally seeing dictatorship as a curse. The love for army is heightened despite the enemies’ within and outside the state. True democracy is being enjoyed by those who have been craving for it since ages. Unlike PTI the other parties have hierarchal structure.

Our Nation as a whole is being cleansed. The true nature of India is slowly being revealed to the world. While the end game of the epic battle seems to draw nearer and nearer, I can’t help but be joyous. I have learned to be happy being a Pakistani finally. Despite our inherent need to only look at the worst side of the picture, the slogan of emerging Pakistan seems to be resonating far and wide.

The 5 Stages of Grief & Loss. The 5 stages of grief and loss are: 1. Denial and isolation; 2. Anger; 3. Bargaining; 4. Depression; 5. Acceptance

Lets look at the The 5 stages of grief and loss are
1.     Denial and isolation

We can’t deny this reality anymore. We were being sold on a pile of lies by the previous governments. Their corruption could not be proven earlier because they had their slaves and money-mongers to defend them. The Panama Papers should not and cannot be denied. Ex-CM Shahbaz Sharif of Punjab still can’t seem to relocate what he did with the money for 2005 Earth Quake Victims relief Fund. Mr. Bilawal Zardari is claiming to evade NAB because of his mother’s funeral. Escaping seems to be in the blood of the corrupt ones I presume. It’s the blatant disregard for honesty that these parties of power have always done. They have little to show about the progress that they have done so far. We as a Nation have been crippled by them. This denial brings isolation and thus friends become foes eventually while getting exposed. The fact that everyone is asking PTI to get off the high horse of bringing justice are totally wrong. No one should forget that it is this struggle that PTI has always stood for. Imran Khan did keep his promise. It’s not about him actually doing the unveiling, it is his patience and hard work reaping the benefits. Bilawal claims we should trade with India. Knowing how he has criticised PMIK for calling Modi a small man, its not a surprise,

2.     Anger
When the rich get nabbed by NAB, they start wailing at the top of their lungs. This is also not uncommon. After all, all their hard-earned ill-gotten money is being exposed. Their anger is very valid. The anger of the common man however seems to be mis-directed at the current government. The previous governments made sure we kept quiet about our problems. They wanted the hush hush to keep on spreading across like wild fire but thank fully it backfired eventually!
It is a sad fact that the man barely making ends meet doesn’t realize it is the corruption of the past and debts across borders making our homeland unsafe and a hub of social evils. This is how it had been planned. PM’s vision for Welfare State is what will make this place on earth livable again inshaAllah.

3.       Bargaining
Now, this is very tricky. Nawaz Sharif bargained his life and orchestrated his escape plan like a pro. The man with his need to be ‘a know-it-all’ knew all so very well. Yes ill-gotten money, hypocrisy, attacks outside the institutions seem to have a criminal master-mind behind all this. Either Nab's prosecutor is weak or they just don't have proof to begin with. Who knows?

Today PMIK again reminded that criminal politicians are in London. He also said don't ever vote for parties whose properties are in other countries. Those who know Nawaz Sharif know that he is master manipulator. His heart may have gotten big as a medical condition but in actuality it is way too tiny. His supporters are mostly Factory owners who were too busy not giving taxes to actually care how the country was doing. PMLN literally bargained his life for 50 Rupees stamp paper. Zardari after leaving the hospital seems in perfectly good health. We are seeing stunted politicians playing stunts. Their slaves and people who have been given special favors, are still loyal to them. The parties that made our foundation weak and criticize the government as if it is their right to make Pakistan weak again.

4.     Depression
Slowly and surely our country is waking up. India is at our LOC. Our government has warned the world that aggression will meet aggression and the infinite battle could take place. India itself is breaking and they need the rest of the world to keep on engulfing in its own problems to notice anything else. We are depressed because of Kashmir. Before the UN speech, no one dared to speak about Kashmir. Then came all the people trying to sabotage the PM’s efforts for peace dialogue in Kashmir. This gave way for all the irrelevant parties to come in the limelight. It’s a good cause and they should do it but the intentions seem insincere. The Modi-esque media also highlighted Nawaz’ health issues way out of proportion. Insignificant Fazal-u-Rehman’s plan also gave air-time to pathetic peskiness. Unfortunately PM could not raise  the issue of Kashmir the way he wanted to. Even his unattendance at the OIC made everyone look suspiciously. Since we don’t know the real story, we can all but have faith that the PM’s intentions are pure. There are many chess pieces that we are unequipped to handle because of various international conspiracies surrounding our region.

5.     Acceptance
This is the turning point for all of us. Should we as citizens of this beautiful country become mere spectators or should we help? Should we raise our voices against the previous oppressors or sit quietly behind the entertainment cloak. Protests, strikes and cracks within the institutions have crippled us for far too long for us to be quiet anymore. We weren’t as socially aware of the situation as we were being fooled. Now the mathematical proofs regarding money trail of money laundering is getting clearer. Everyone should accept that things can, should and are changing finally. Digital Pakistan, Ehsaas programe, Hunarmand Jawan, promotion of tourism, same level of education are some of the many things PTI has managed to pull out of its hat. Many people criticize the government of not being real politicians. My only answer to such people is, if selling our country for dozen of properties abroad is the way the old politicians used to do, we are much safer with the inexperienced ones.
